John 12:26-30:''Father, Glorify Thy Name''
26: If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
27: Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
28: Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29: The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
30: Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

John 12:27 –30 Similarities To Prayers At Gethsemane (God Through Anne Terri With The Holy Spirit)
1.John 12:27, is similar to The Prayers written, as said at Gethsemane.
2.Let this cup pass away from me, but I will do Your Will God.
3.This was an insert made to fit The Crucifixion.
4.If you look at this section closer, Jesus is teaching them, if they Follow Me, they will receive honor in Heaven.
5. This does not mean they should die a horrible death, and then go to Heaven.
5.It is difficult to leave ones family behind and to follow Jesus.
6.This form of teaching runs through out The New Testament, and with the additions I Have Shown you to place in red ink, it now seems as if Jesus wanted to be a Martyr and to have them follow him to the Cross.
8.Jesus' Apostles are there to learn how not to die an immediate death on earth, but to learn to save their Souls.
9.This is how he wants them to follow him, not to be captured and killed.
