"April 23, 2013 God's Living Bible - The Third Testament - God's New Revelations - The Gospel of Apostle Rev Colleen Etana
'Beloved,
I was talking to a woman friend of mine today who got away from her abuser and stepped out of her past, shedding her guilt, shame and fear. I was so proud of her. She said it was the scariest thing she ever did.
I remembered something I heard from Joyce Meyers once, after she told her testimony of paternal abuse that was horrific. Joyce Meyers said, "Sometimes we have to do it afraid."
I told my own philosophy about fear and overcoming it with a true story of my own that was alot less horrific, (although I have been there too so I can relate).
"The scariest thing I ever did was ride a massive wave in Hawaii. It was so big and there was no way off of it, so I had to catch it and ride it all the way into the beach. Then I made myself do it again just for good measure, Feeling Joyful."
Tell yourself from now on that it is excitement, not fear, and you will transmute the idea and feeling along to go with it for a more joyful experience.
And so it is,
AMEN"
