What Did Santa Bring Your Children?
Before we begin, you will wonder if this is true. Have Faith.
I know what's on many a list; video Games and their systems!
God Let me play a game, when I took a short break from Writing God's Living Bible. He Showed me what He Can Do, and it was great fun to play with Him. He Literally Rewrites the software before your very eyes. He Makes it impossible to reset a game room so that you can reach a goal, and He's Talked you out of saving your game, so that you become trapped.
However, We also discussed the following, after I went to my game collection and found there were few choices that didn't involve fighting and war. In fact, all I found was Tetris. You see, I don't like sports or racing. They can be disastrous too, if you have the need to crash and burn.
Because, at this time, God Firmly Believes in free will, you will not see a do not play list from Him. Once you get to know Him, you'll see that playing with God is a no win situation, especially in Chess, which is a famous old board game. But you knew that, didn't you? Chess comes in many flavors, both digital and for the table top.
I play games for story line, strategy, and music. There are writers from Japan who have managed to make me cry over the demise of a character. It's basically save the Princess. Remember Mario Brothers? Now, that's a great game, that's if it's still of vintage quality. In the original, one had to learn to jump to avoid the monsters.
However, the cost for all of these machines and games has gotten beyond the consumer. Recently, I wished for a Play Station II, when we were in the store several weeks ago. I was just kidding, for I knew God Wanted me to write something much more important. Even if I purchased it, I wouldn't be able to afford the games, or to be able to find something of high level value, except for something like the Simms. They at least teach relationships.
When Santa places a small game system under your Christmas tree, you may wonder what happened to all the presents and your wallet. Of course, Santa used your credit card didn't he? Do you still have one that even has a credit on it, or is it maxed out?
Did you know that when you play a video game you are learning many things? If the movements are accelerated and have high maneuverability for a vehicle, or a broomstick, you've just learned to fly a fighter jet? There are many games that are geared in this direction.
In the future, God Wishes you to play something of quality, and to raise your Spirits.
