JACOB/ISRAEL, GOD WRESTLER
JACOB/ISRAEL, GOD WRESTLER
To wrestle with a 'man' in the following scripture reference from Genesis 32, is to wrestle with our own carnal minds. Overcoming or subduing it through humility, peace and love; winning it over by the Soul or Holy Spirit, thereby becoming One with God, is to also wrestle with God.
As in Jacob who then was blessed with the name Israel after the struggle was over.
Then we are no longer 'one of the lost' of Israel. We have found Our True Self by walking the path of the heart which is the mediator between God and mankind. Spirit, Soul and Flesh, a Divine human.
The marriage within the temple of the human body after which we become the Harmonic Universal Man in total Union and Communion with God.
The Path of a Christ or a Master.
We have made the two one, the inside like the outside, the outside like the inside and the above like the below, made the male and the female one and the same, etc, we become as a bridge between Heaven and Earth.
We hope to help our brothers and sisters ascend, or in other words, evolve and grow too.
If they will open the ears of their hearts and listen, We can help them save or redeem themselves by showing them the Way to God or Self Realization.
Genesis 32:24-31 Jacob named as Israel - He calls the place Peniel
[24] And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
[25] And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
[26] And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
[27] And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
[28] And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but ''Israel'': for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
[29] And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
[30] And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
[31] And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh.

Is-Ra-El: To Be - Creative Power or Creator - God;
as you can see below all the way back from a more Egyptian and Hebrew origin of the word.
Some say 'Is' even refers back to Isis:

The theological position of the Tanakh is that the names ?l and ’?l?hîm, when used in the singular to mean the supreme and active 'God', refer to the same being as does the name Yahweh. All three refer to the one supreme God who is the God of Israel, beside whom other Gods are supposed to be either non-existent or insignificant. Whether this was a longstanding belief or a relatively new one has long been the subject of inconclusive scholarly debate about the prehistory of the sources of the Tanakh and about the prehistory of Israelite religion. In the P strand, YHVH says in Exodus 6:2–3:
I revealed myself to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as ?l Shadd?i, but was not known to them by my name, Yahweh.

The names Land of Israel and Children of Israel have historically been used to refer to the biblical Kingdom of Israel and the entire Jewish nation respectively.[32] The name "Israel" in these phrases refers to the patriarch Jacob (Standard Yisra?el, Isr???l; Septuagint Greek: Isra?l; "struggle with God"[33]) who, according to the Hebrew Bible was given the name after he successfully wrestled with the angel of the Lord.[34]

He or she who wrestles with their self also wrestles with an Angel of the Lord. When one can be tempted no longer by earthly pleasures, will not give up the struggle, enduring instead, fighting the good fight, they can overcome their lower self by embracing God and standing face to face.
They can now say they have seen God, lived through it to tell the tale and can show the Way.
Victory may be their's but the Glory belongs to The Holy Spirit.
The Gospel of Thomas
(22) Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to his disciples, "These infants being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom."
They said to him, "Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?"
Jesus said to them, "When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom."
