"September 1, 2013 God's Living Bible - The Third Testament - God's New Revelations - The Gospel of Messiah and Apostle Rev Colleen Etana - A Child Shows Us How To Be A Servant
God With Messiah Rev Colleen Etana and The Holy Spirit:
Beloved,
On one of my various trips this summer of 2013, I was accompanied by several new friends. One of which is a six year old little girl named Brook. It was my camping trip to Big Meadows I've documented within my travel section.
I adore children but was not able to have any myself due to health reasons when I was very young. I was lucky enough however to have the opportunity to help raise two stepdaughters for about 14 years, which was wonderful. They are both in college and doing very well now.
Anyway, at the end of the first day I was helping Brook to change her clothes and get cleaned up.
I took a washbasin, filled it with water, got a washcloth and cup. I sat with her and washed her little feet and told her of the story of Jesus washing his Apostles feet in a way that she could understand the meaning of helping others.
As soon as I was finished, she did the most surprising thing. She said, "Let me wash YOUR feet."
I think I actually blushed with pleasure that this little child would even think to reciprocate such an act, I look upon as being Divine considering the story about Jesus.
I must have been in shock and how could I say no to this? I was so impressed as she gently and lovingly washed my feet!
I thought I was teaching her, and here she was teaching me in return about serving others. It made me realize how very precious are our children and she totally won my heart.
Later, the next day. I presented her with a small Tibetan crystal to thank her.
An hour later, she brings me a huge white crystal rock that Heaven knows where she found, Feeling Joyful! I was delighted and quite taken aback at her generosity and kind nature.
I Pray that we all may have the heart of a child when it comes to giving and doing for others, as this little girl showed me.
God Bless the Children, our most precious resource.
And so it is.
And ever shall be.
Amen"
John 13:12-17 No Servant Is Greater Than His Lord
13: Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
14: If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
15: For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
16: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
17: If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
