THE CHRISTMAS MIRACLE
Link To Diary
A Christmas Wish Comes True
On December 24th, the traditional Christmas Eve, I was talking with Jesus and He Asked me what I wanted most for Christmas. I gave Him a small list. On this list were several things...
We were traveling yesterday. It was to visit our family in Amsterdam. It was planned for us to have a busy day; the opening of gifts, good food, and Christmas cheer.
Also, I'd heard that we were going to visit the Christmas Market. The dog was with us, so it would be nice to get him out for a walk. After arriving, we were told, the Christmas Market wasn't for Christmas, but a regular market.
After having a lunch together, we went out and about Amsterdam. At a central plain, where there were several museums, I was asked this question.
''Do you want to see the red light district or go to Anne Frank's House?'' I was amazed to hear such a question, but I told them to decide for me. They said the red light district was mostly for tourists, and Carlo Jr's friend said I'd like the area where the Anne Frank house was better. I relaxed and we walked far to one of the many canals.
I was hoping to get a glimpse of Anne Frank's tree, and to see the house for the first time, from the front. Dogs can't go in museums. When we were in front, Carlo Jr. surprised me. They took my dog, and said please go in. We'll be back in an hour. They told Carlo Sr. to please go with me also. What's amazing, is that I didn't expect this.
When we went into the house, I said to Jesus, ''I guess this is Merry Christmas''. The guards at the front thought I meant them, and they replied, ''Merry Christmas.'' It made me smile. And I wondered if they were Jews or Christians?
The feeling inside the house, takes you back in time.
Jesus said He'd be with me in Spirit, but not Anne Frank, because she'd been there long enough.
Earlier, God had said, as were were walking,'I'm there now, and the tree is still standing'. I was thinking, this is so amazing, how He can be everywhere at the same time.
Note: They were planning to cut down Anne Frank's favorite chestnut tree, because it was diseased.
However, they found a way to shore it up, and help the weak branches.
Imagine that you are in a dark warehouse. (The front of the building has been made to look like a warehouse now also. From the front you can't see any movement, it looks empty through the upstairs windows. If only...) This is a place that is without frills, mostly barrels. It's was used for Anne's Father's business. They keep the lighting low through out, to help you to feel what it's like to be in hiding, with the black out curtains drawn. They actually took baths in the dark and toilets couldn't flush during shop hours. So quiet, so forlorn. The house draws you in, further, taking you up staircases, showing you where the offices were, explaining how this warehouse was the front for a major hiding place that was for 8 Jews, one of them, young Anne. We caught a glimpse of the famous Chestnut Tree. It's been pruned at the top. No photos are allowed in the museum. So today, no photo, just darkness and silence.
What every visitor wants to see, is the secret entrance, a book case that closes and locks to hide the actual rooms where they lived. All dark, even in the light of the sun, the curtains always drawn. Anne watched the people through these drawn curtains, the Jews living around her, being rounded up, marched along the street below, and taken to the Camps.
Anne's room spoke of a young teen age girl, trying to be normal, when so frightened. Yet, she shared it with a man her father's age. On her wall were various pictures she'd taken from magazines. She loved the Cinema and a friend brought her these when ever possible. Pictures of Deanna Durbin, Ray Milland, Ginger Rogers. Beautifully dressed young girls, like Shirley Temple. Angels, and post cards. The one that made me so happy, was the photo she had of Jesus Christ. It was of a stone statue, and quite unique.
Before you leave the museum, you are taken to Auschwitz, to a gas chamber type of shower room. I still get chills thinking of this and what happened to her family. Anne stands for 103,000 Jews taken to these camps from the Netherlands, alone. Jesus is a Jew. Please don't forget this.
This post is in honor of Anne Frank, a young girl who left us a documentation of the time. From Heaven she watches through the eyes of Jesus, at this very moment. Please, do not do this again to any one, to any race.
Tomorrow, the miracles continue from today ...God has been good to us.

On December 24th, the traditional Christmas Eve, I was talking with Jesus and He Asked me what I wanted most for Christmas. I gave Him a small list. On this list were several things...
I want to see the Anne Frank house.
I want to be able to meet You in visual Spirit form, not just audible, (meaning that I had seen him in the form of a traveling Spirit, a circle of vivid star lights, but wanted to see his face, from when he was on earth the first time)
I'd like to be able to taste my favorite winter vegetable, Kale which is unavailable in Belgium.
